Join Provepharm, a human-scale company full of challenges!JOB OVERVIEWThe Director, Business Insights & Analytics, is responsible for leading all commercial analytics initiatives plus acquiring and managing relevant data to support the same. This role is responsible for providing an understanding of the market landscape and market trends to facilitate strategic plans. The role is responsible for delivering timely analysis of launch performance, plus conduct advanced analytics to drive strategic decisions. This individual is expected to build capabilities for their functional area and be a thought partner to commercial leadership. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires collaboration within commercial teams.SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
  • Business performance analysis and KPI tracking for Provepharm brands
    • Performance management: Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the commercial success of products. Establish standard cadence of KPI review.
    • Identify reporting content for weekly, monthly, quarterly updates
    • Build a launch dashboard for integrating cross-functional KPIs and providing overarching insights on performance, proactively identify areas/tactics to focus on to improve performance
    • Track KPIs impacting the commercial forecast. Explain deviation in performance from forecast/targets and suggest strategic levers to address these deviations
  • Lead custom analytics to answer business needs
    • Segmentation
    • Predictive modeling e.g., identify discontinuation risk; future growth (using leading indicators)
    • Promotional response modeling - digital, omnichannel, field force
  • Ensure accuracy of data at territory level to support Commercial Operations/sales activities
    • responsible for conducting sales operations projects such as sales force territory design/optimization and Incentive Plan design
  • Partner with other leaders to understand needs to business partners and drive development of analytic methodologies, models, processes, reports and new products in response to business needs
  • Responsible for implementing a data warehouse to ensure that all the data is aggregated
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in related pharmaceutical/biotech industry roles (Forecasting, Analytics, Business Insights, Marketing Science, etc...) or 5+ years of related management consulting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word mail merge and Excel functions (pivot tables, lookup formulas).
PREFERRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
  • Deep understanding of the global healthcare environment with demonstrated impact in U.S. and EU preferred
  • Working knowledge of CRM and dashboard systems (eg, Veeva, Salesforce) preferred
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SAS, R, Python, Tableau) and competitive intelligence databases (e.g., EvaluatePharma, IMS)
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment
