Director, Business Intelligence & ReportingCountry: United States of AmericaMaintains and monitors data and databases to meet the company's current and projected future needs. Reviews and ensures the quality, accuracy and security of data in accordance with established procedures and standards. Monitors database activity and the relationships between the database users and applications to ensure appropriate data usage and resolve data conflicts. Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements.Collects, organizes and analyzes data sets to draw conclusions to maximize efficiency of internal operational processes, to manage risk, and to position the company to better serve clients through enhanced product and solutions offerings. Responsible for drawing insights from large sets of quantitative data. May use advanced analytics technologies, systems and software. Develops data-driven recommendations that support key business decisions across the company. Performs analysis and prepares forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends. Researches market conditions to determine potential sales of a product or solution. Analyzes, compiles and manages market and economic research on the market's product or solution requirements and competitive environment to identify enhancements to current features and functionality.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Provides ongoing business and technical management of the Business Intelligence (BI) platform development, including day to day operations, projects, and commercialization leading to broad adoption across the organization.Builds strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business to maintain executive level reporting with zero quality defect and consistent on-time delivery.Conducts executive reporting, competitive intelligence and associated policies, methodologies and resources.Spearheads modeling and analytics efforts to provide insights into new product launches/initiatives.Designs and develops analytical reporting metrics and dashboards across all critical business unit(s) and processes for senior leadership.Communicates with senior leadership on strategic matters.Designs and develops quantitative analysis to support the development, validation and implementation of data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.Oversees and serves as subject matter expert on Business Intelligence (BI).Creates actionable recommendations designed to improve business performance.Manages data gathering efforts with internal and external business partners.Serves as a key liaison between business and IT groups, acquires and delivers on business requirements, and successfully manages external vendors.Manages all projects across the Business Intelligence (BI) department; including, milestones/deadlines, deliverables, budgets, resources, and building key stakeholder relationships.Provides thought leadership by proactively identifying new business intelligence platforms that drive a higher level of data democratization, self-service analytics, and overall growth in digital capabilities among the workforce.Assembles project plans, procedures, resources to ensure accuracy and timeliness in project completion.Collaborates with stakeholders to improve current analytics processes and develop new capabilities.Manages most strategic accounts and relationships for the Business Intelligence (Bi) department.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
