Program Director Capacity Management

In this role, the Program Director of Capacity Management is responsible for performing and supporting the assessment, design, and implementation of The Capacity Management Program at NYPH/CU. The Director is accountable for the management of all inpatient bed flow requests from ED, PACU, ICU, and outside facilities and collaborating with the Admission Department and Nursing to assure expedited placement of patients to beds. Direct a team of Bed Flow Coordinators. The Program Director is responsible for reporting and review of bed capacity status using a dashboard to include relevant metrics for all departments, and leading and organizing day flow huddles.

Preferred Criteria

  • American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification

Required Criteria

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Masters in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree.
  • Current NYS RN licensure

OR

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from ARC-PA accredited PA program
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Current NYS PA licensure

AND

  • At least 3-5 years Leadership/Managerial experience

Salary Range: $193,000-$258,000/Annual
