About the Job
This role is integral to the Finance, Accounting, and Leadership teams, focusing on supporting Rain City's strategic financial and operational growth. Here are some of the responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies with the CEO and Leadership Teams to ensure financial resources align with current and future goals while mitigating risks.
- Maintain effective relationships with key bank and financial partners, including warehouse banks and investors.
- Provide insights and recommendations for the organization's growth plans.
- Identify and implement systems to provide critical capital markets data.
- Negotiate with banks to optimize the borrowing base and reduce costs.
- Select and engage loan investors, bank partners, and financial consultants.
- Manage and optimize loan securitization processes.
- Work with underwriting and capital partners to identify origination opportunities.
- Lead and oversee the loan sales team.
- Design and implement controls to improve efficiency in the loan sales process.
- Review and develop key company legal agreements.
- Implement policies and procedures as deemed appropriate by leadership.
- Execute analysis of business initiatives and product launches.
Career Development
- Success in this position can lead to elevation to a C-level role in the company.
Requirements
- 10+ years of capital markets or secondary marketing experience, preferably in a lending environment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
- MBA and CMA preferred.
- Asset-Based Lending experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and executive presence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with sales, mergers, and acquisitions.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Able to work in Kirkland, WA (remote work options temporarily available).
Performance Expectations:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
