ECU Health Medical Center has achieved Magnet® designation twice and provides acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people.Position Summary Responsible for leading the Center for Child and Family Wellness for ECU Health. The leader will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of children and families within the ECUH region. This role involves strategic planning, partnership development, funding securement, and program management surrounding comprehensive wellness services with a focus on preventative care to support the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of children and their families. In conjunction with Maynard Children's Hospital and the Children's Health and Women's Health service lines of ECU Health, this role leads strategy and initiatives surrounding health promotion, preventative health, mental well-being, safety, community partnerships, and chronic disease management for children within ECUH communities.Minimum Requirements Master's Degree or higher in public health, health administration, nursing, or related field (MPH, MPA, MAEd, MHA, MSN) required.Minimum of 5 years experience in community health, public health, or a related field required.
