The Korn Ferry Institute (KFI) – established in 2008 – is a global corporate function of Korn Ferry that supports the organization across all lines of business including Advisory, Digital, and Search through:
- Scientific research and the creation of thought leadership that highlights key trends related to topics such as the future of work and that identify the drivers of human and organizational performance.
- Creating and managing the Intellectual Property for the firm, including our Success Profile library, Competency Model content, assessment and measurement tools, and work measurement systems and processes.
- Leveraging our vast data asset to design and conduct state-of-the-art analytics that deliver impactful insights to clients and demonstrate the power and value of Korn Ferry tools and solutions.
Within the KFI, the Client Analytics team is focused on delivering highly impactful data-driven insights to clients. The team is also responsible for establishing best practices and tools for running analytics, and then enabling resources across the organization to leverage these at scale. The client analytics team works collaboratively with colleagues across the business in the areas of individual, team, and organizational performance.

The Director, Client Analytics plays a critical role in guiding the analytics approaches used in our organization. This role has three key focus areas:
- SHAPING advanced, high impact intellectual property-centric client analytics - Running client analytics projects helps us to stay close to our clients and shape how we can leverage our intellectual property and data (e.g. personality, multi-rater, and cognitive ability assessments and employee engagement surveys, etc.) to drive improved insights.
- INFLUENCING highly scalable, consistent, best-in-class and more impactful analytics across the wider firm.
- ENABLING others and having a strong focus on knowledge management to disseminate and share analytics best-practice across the firm.
Delivering on these objectives entails managing a small team of data scientists with a client analytics focus as well as networking closely with other KFI team members and analytics delivery teams across KF to ensure successful project resourcing and delivery of numerous projects.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of and passion for people analytics, be a highly organized self-starter, have a passion for knowledge management, have great capabilities in networking and influencing and will need to quickly develop a strong and detailed understanding of our intellectual property.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: provide direction, coaching, development, and support to highly capable expert professionals focused on data science projects.
- Analytics Project Resourcing and Operations Management: Oversee the portfolio of 200+ analytics projects delivered each year.
- Analytics Strategy and Solution Development: contribute to the analytics strategy for the firm.
- Analytics/Intellectual Property Advisor: Answer questions from the business about analytics best practices.
- Knowledge Management: co-own the documentation of Analytics Best Practices.
- Analytics Enablement: input into the process to develop and support with the delivery of training materials.
- Advise on Analytics Pricing & Solution Architecting: Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to recommend analytics offerings.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to client/colleague questions to ensure understanding of Korn Ferry intellectual property.
- Data Governance: provide guidance and coaching regarding analytics-related data access.
- Stay up-to-date and participate in relevant thought leadership innovation and strategies.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience working with data associated with talent acquisition and management assessments.
- 2-3 years of experience in data mining and manipulation.
- 3+ years of management/operations experience in people analytics.
- 3+ years of experience as an internal or external consultant.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- PowerBI experience preferred.
- Basic R skills preferred.
EDUCATION
- Graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Science, Business, Math/Statistics, or Data Science/Analytics.
