Overview of Position The Client Financial Partner Director is a key business partner responsible for all financial client deliverables, including scope of work development, revenue reconciliations, forecasting, reporting and profitability analysis. This is a client facing role, responsible for leading key financial projects and supporting the VP, Client Financial Partner with discussions with our largest growth clients in efforts to enhance profitability targets by improving clients' profit margins.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Coordination of financial reports/outputs across all client programs to ensure accuracy, data integrity and completeness of financials and operational KPIs (35%) - Collaborate across functions to create financial and operational reports necessary to track all relevant financial and operational metrics
- Weekly/daily monitoring of all KPIs to ensure program is performing according to design
- Identification of variances and analysis of those variances down to root cause
- Ensure consistent formats of reporting across organization and programs
- Lead cross-functional teams internal to ensure client financials are accurate and complete
- Collaborate with other functional areas to gather information, design and develop integrated solutions to address business needs and mitigate risks
- Develop corrective action plans together with key product and operational owners and manage the action plans to completion
- Communicate errors, omissions, or changes as well as the controls to prevent future errors to clients on behalf of all the cross functional groups
Prepare and present the monthly business reviews to client (30%) - Serve as primary liaison between Assurant and Client on all finance-related matters, including performance insights, forecast accuracy, risk mitigation, rate adequacy, new product and/or program launches, etc.
- Coordinate financial reconciliation efforts and ensure issue resolution with client
- Communicate regularly with financial contacts at Client
- Development and present monthly Client business review of financial analysis including key insights and recommendations
Manage special projects relating to one time client requests, business challenges, opportunities, new products, etc. (35%) - Supports leadership in creating a strong strategic plan based on sound decisions and a robust operational plan to drive successful project launches with exceptional results
- Financial performance reporting, monitoring and cost analysis
- Lead the effort of gathering relevant data and resources to ensure special requests from the client or account executives are addressed timely and thoroughly
- Provide analytical support and other ad hoc financial analyses to leadership
Travel Financial Responsibility - Supports the oversight of budget for financial reporting for Lifestyle's largest clients with revenue exceeding $500M
What are the requirements needed for this position? - Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of directly related progressively responsible professional-level financial management experience
- Advanced Excel and SQL and experience with large data
- Effective communication to influence without authority as this is a client facing role
- Demonstrate excellent operational ownership, including strong internal and external collaboration
- Support to strengthen strong engagement of internal stakeholders, processes and systems
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? - Prior experience in the insurance, financial services or mobile industry
- Independent, self-starter with problem solving skills
- Superior organization abilities and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong internal and external collaboration with the ability to establish positive relationships with all levels of employees, management, and external parties

Pay Range: $99,200.00 - $165,600.00 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
