This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area. The role of Director, Clinical Learning and Development at Sono Bello is responsible for enabling and supporting the optimal and efficient day-to-day operations of the Clinical Learning and Development team, including managers and Clinical trainers. This person will lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education and training programs. The role requires advanced experience in facilitating and developing training programs, strong leadership skills including team management and development, and the proven ability to influence change. Effective communication and the capability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships are essential, as this role partners with the National Support Center and Field Leadership Teams to ensure new and existing members are equipped to; drive strong operational execution and compliance, deliver a great patient experience, ensure an environment of care, and exceed the business objectives of our centers. This role is based in Kirkland, WA and reports into the Vice President, Enterprise Learning and Talent Development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop the Learning and Development team, including talent, capabilities, tools, and deployment
- Identify high potential team members and address team member skills gaps
- Participate in Leadership Team performance management and talent development
- Build and execute development programs to continuously improve Sono Bello training effectiveness and ensure company initiatives are incorporated into training materials to reinforce processes, protocols, and tools
- Identify educational needs and priorities based on clinical performance data, feedback, and emerging trends in healthcare.
- Design and implement high quality onboarding programs for all Clinical roles
- Develop and apply an evaluation system to monitor the quality and effectiveness of training delivered by L&D team members and provide effective feedback and coaching to trainers on a regular basis
- Ensure that all educational programs comply with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
- Maintain a high quality in-center Clinical training network
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Work closely with Sono Bello Field Leadership to open new centers with excellence
- Foster strong communication and community by establishing appropriate touch bases, communications, meetings, center visits, etc. with appropriate Field Team Members and the L&D team
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with CCOs, Area Leaders/Directors, Practice Managers, Associate PMs, Assistant PMs, Lead PES, Lead Clinicians, and other integral Support Teams including Executives across Field Leadership, Medical Leadership team, Risk and Regulatory department
- Track and report on L&D KPI and ROI metrics
- Identify broader organization needs and communicate across the Executive Leadership Team to devise solutions and strategies to address as appropriate
- Present feedback to the recruiting team to ensure that they are bringing in appropriately skilled and culturally aligned team members into the company
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Certification in Clinical Education or a similar credential is highly desirable.
- Experience in Joint Commissions, AAAASF or AAAHC accreditation a plus.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in Clinical Education, Medical Policy Development, and Compliance, including three years in a leadership role.
- Preferred: 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of leading and managing educational programs, and substantial expertise in clinical practice and adult learning principles.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering high-quality, effective training on a variety of roles within multiple levels.
- Proven experience and passion for leading and developing high-performing team members.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decision-making and program improvements.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence change.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic planning and business acumen.
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills and utilization of MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and general LMS functionalities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work at corporate office in Kirkland WA a minimum of 3 days a week. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:This role requires up to 50-75% of nationwide travel based on business needs. COMPENSTATION:At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $163,000 + Bonus. BENEFITS:
