This role will lead cross-functional and/or cross-company teams to commercialize new diagnostic medical devices and products.WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:Executes product launches to completion and assures successful market adoption, or makes a timely recommendation to management to terminate a launch if required by technical, commercial, regulatory or other developments that may result in product launch failure if not resolved through creative problem solving.Formulates and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies and budgets for one or more product launchesWorking closely with Executive Leadership and subject matter experts from Sales, Area Marketing, Area Commercial Excellence, Field Service, Global Strategic Marketing, Global Commercial Excellence, R&D, Manufacturing and other functions.Confirms strategic direction for product launches and ensures ongoing planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on the products.Ensures division-wide thinking and problem solving are incorporated into product launch execution.Drives for resolution in cross-functional problem solving, communication and integration.Serves as the primary liaison between the team and management.Raises issues to the appropriate level of management.Prepares and presents information on an as-needed basis to assure the successful meeting of product launch objectives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or Master's degrees in business or a scientific discipline; MBA preferred.Demonstrated track record of successfully managing medical device or pharmaceutical product launches.Management consulting experience preferredMinimum 7 years' experience in medical device company in sales, marketing or commercial excellence.Cross-functional experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Customer Service, and Manufacturing are desired.Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization within a variety of departments.Strong leadership and the ability to collect information from multiple sources, and synthesize, integrate and resolve conflicting requirements and cross-functional issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent negotiation and influence skills.Experience working with external suppliers, partners and customers.Proficient with use of various software applications such as MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.The base pay for this position is $143,300.00 – $286,700.00.
