This involves coordinating logistics and content development, taking minutes, and managing pre- and post-meeting communications. The Director ensures that these meetings are informative, engaging, and valuable for our members. The Director will also provide the delivery of high-quality programs that address the needs of our members.+ The position is responsible for the overall administration of the CBC, which includes managing the database, mailing lists, and photo directories to remain current and up to date.+ Managing the CBC appointment process is another crucial aspect of the director's role. This involves working closely with the CEOs and ABA leadership to ensure the right individuals are appointed to the Community Bankers Council. By doing so, the Director plays a crucial role in shaping the future direction of CBC and ensuring that it is representative of the industry's diversity.+ The Director also plays a crucial role in developing and implementing the CBC New Member Program. This program is essential for welcoming new members into ABA and the CBC by providing them with the necessary orientation and mentorship to ensure their success within our community.+ Partner with Team Logistics to update meeting profiles, initiate contracts, review hotel proposals, and timely approvals of CEO-level conferences and meetings.Human Capital Advisory Group/Program Management+ In addition to their responsibilities within the CBC, the Director will also assist with managing the Human Capital Advisory Council. This involves collaborating with the VP of Community Banking to develop and implement a new human capital leadership series, which is crucial for helping our members navigate the challenges of workforce management and development.+ Lead ABA's online community for HR professionals by creating discussion topics, moderating, and facilitating conversations, and collaborating with other ABA staff on new and relevant topics.+ The Director will look for opportunities to highlight bankers within a broader communications strategy in tandem with ABA Banking Journal and its podcast.Conference for Community Bankers (CCB) Development+ Consult with ABA staff charged with content development of concurrent sessions at CCB to ensure timely acquisition of deliverables. Assist the Senior Director with speaker development and onboarding leadership-focused concurrent sessions.+ Analyze CCB attendee and ABA member demographics using ABA's data systems to identify trends and gaps in engagement for targeted outreach. This data-driven approach will inform recommendations for enhancing conference content and participation.Career Development+ Support partnership with BankTalent HQ by auditing posted positions and ensuring alignment with ABA training products offered.+ Lead planning of the ABA Academic Partner Symposium at ABA's Annual Convention in coordination with the SVP, Executive Education & CEO Programs.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Lead and Manage the Community Bankers Council (CBC) Administrative Committee Meetings.+ Organize and manage the CBC's New Member Program and the CBC Database.+ Collaborate and manage ABA's new human resource management vertical.+ Support the development of the Conference for Community Bankers.+ Manage ABA's Career Development Initiatives for Bankers.**Qualifications:**+ 4-year degree preferred, but not required; Content development, program and meeting management, communication, data management, project management, strategic planning, and market research and analysis+ Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the following areas:+ Content Development and Adult Education+ Program Management+ Digital Communication Tools (Microsoft Suite, Teams, Higher Logic & Zoom)+ Stakeholder Relationship Management+ Data Analysis, Decision-making, and Reporting+ Financial Acumen and Budget Management+ Strategic Planning+ Meeting and conference management experience+ Data analysis and reporting skills+ Relationship building and collaboration skills+ Content and program development experience+ Communication and organizational skills+ Ability to travel up to 20%**Salary Band Range:**$81,848.00 - $108,470.00 - $135,093.00American Bankers Association (ABA) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
