More information can be found at www.coopersurgical.com.ResponsibilitiesJob Summary:The Director, Contraceptive Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for shaping the marketing strategy, ensuring effective communication, creating strategy, driving impact, enhancing sales teams and optimizing budgets for Paragard. The leader is responsible for creating and implementing the strategy for branding, promoting and selling Paragard to achieve corporate & division financial objectives. They will oversee all aspects of brand and product marketing and partner with our sales leaders (Sales strategy and execution) and our integrated marketing team (digital, content, events, PR).Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global marketing strategies for our diverse product and service portfolio.
- Manage budgets effectively, optimizing marketing spend to maximize ROI, and promote a culture of marketing efficiency and impact.
- Drive marketing excellence in strategy development, product management, and communication efforts.
- Brand/Product launch experience.
- Development of category KOLs to drive strong HCP based Marketing and influence.
- Annual Business Plan development & successful championship to management.
- Successful partnership and creative campaign execution working with large advertising and public relations agencies.
- Strong strategic thinker willing to roll their sleeves up for flawless execution.
- Monitor key metrics and objectives to inform informed business planning.
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the organizations long term business goals. Includes identifying growth opportunities, setting measurable objectives and ensuring the strategies are agile enough to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Ensuring brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Conducting and analyzing market research to understand current trends, customer behaviors and competitive dynamics and using these insights to information marketing strategies and decisions.
- Driving the direction of digital marketing and communication and executing with the global team.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing practical challenges in a non-standardized environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and a continuous commitment to learning and growth.
- Analytics / performance management.
- Working and leading in a matrix environment.
- Corporate communications, PR and sales training experience a plus.
Experience:
- 10+ years of successful experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Track record of building strong brands and businesses, ideally in both B2B and B2C contexts.
- Background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but experience in related industries is acceptable.
- Experience in large companies with a deep understanding of global markets and dynamics.
- Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience.
- Experience in managing a team of marketing professionals for a minimum of five years.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree in marketing or business Administration is preferred.
