Our school is located in a beautiful lakes area. We have a supportive board and the NCCS team is working on progressive ideas to address the opportunity and achievement gaps Native American students experience.
Responsible for enhancing and supporting high-quality, outcome-driven programming at Naytahwaush Community Charter School. The D/C of FSCS works in partnership with the Executive Director, and Community Member Liaisons to assess the school community's needs and assets; manage partnerships and co-create a learning environment that supports a thriving school community where students flourish. This position, along with district and community leadership, manages the supportive infrastructure for NCCS's FSCS grants. The supportive infrastructure includes governance structures, strategic community partnerships, sustainable resources, professional learning opportunities, and data systems.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred; 7 years in education/youth development; A systems-thinking approach; ability to ignite and support change; understanding of effective community partnerships; ability to build solid work relationships; experience managing programs in an educational or related setting; Strong written and verbal communication skills; high degree of cultural awareness and competency in cross-cultural practice with children and families; experience developing and managing program budgets; experience writing and managing grants; and computer literacy to include the use of Microsoft Word and Google applications;
Work Location - On-campus (potential for some remote work) with typical hours 12:00-8:00 pm.
Compensation Package: Will be determined based on qualifications and be regionally competitive with Director positions in northwest Minnesota. Minimum salary $50,000 plus benefits.
