Title: Director, Corporate Systems Engineering

Location: Miami, FL (USA)

Team size: 10+ full time and external teams

Reporting: Sr. Director, Engineering - BIS

This position has high visibility in the company. Kaseya is looking for a director to own engineering for the Oracle Fusion Cloud Application (ERP/SCM/HCM) SaaS environment and other corporate systems. This leader will be responsible for running a global technical engineering team focused on development, delivery, and support for all Kaseya employees, customers, and offices worldwide. In this role, you will own technical development and the support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and other corporate systems. These mission critical systems support core functions of business operations including Order to Cash, Billing, Financials (Procure to Pay, Record to Report), Hire to Retire, and Cash & Payments.

This role owns critical business applications & integrations and will need to drive innovation, empower & motivate teams of seasoned admins, developers, engineers, and architects. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and a creative thinker with the ability to grasp concepts quickly, well versed with Front Office and Back Office Systems business process, challenges, best practices, and technologies. They will need to be diligent and have a detail-oriented mentality. You are responsible for creating an exceptional experience with responsibility for the following duties:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications (SaaS) and other corporate systems, by aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Enable engineering tools, automations, standards, SDLC, DevOps, and prepare the team to support multiple global projects as well as M&A activities.
  • Must have business acumen knowledge of Order to Cash, Billing, Financials (Procure to Pay, Record to Report), Hire to Retire, Cash & Payments, legal, Tax, and BI/DW.
  • Ability to create a best-in-class scalable engineering team driven through continuous improvement with measurable KPIs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications and other corporate systems, ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Partner with the Product team for all Business Information Systems providing technical engineering and development based on roadmaps and agile sprints.
  • Collaborate with teams across all regions (ASIA, EMEA, America).
  • Partner with the security organization to deliver engineering solutions based on security requirements.
  • Manage cross functional relationships to ensure delivery on all priorities and objectives.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and ensure all applications and infrastructure are maintained, upgraded, and under proper support internally and by 3rd party vendors.
  • Manage technology spends, contracts, renewals, renegotiations for all corporate and business technology globally.
  • Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
  • Work with third-party integrations tools and integrations with 3rd party vendors.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology trends that could help innovate and improve Kaseya systems and customer experience.

Our desired candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience as an IT leader with techno-functional hands-on experience and managing back-office IT systems with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Detailed understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications concepts, best practices, and general module functionality.
  • Deep understanding & technical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications security, integration framework, reporting & analytics, extensibility, personalization, configuration, architecture, and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of tools used to modify UI in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  • Strong understanding of databases, Excel, BI Reports including RTF, eText and Excel Template, XSL, OTBI reports, HCM Extracts, BI Cloud Connector, & BI folder security.
  • Strong functional knowledge in defining and using flexfields, lookups, values set, work structures, area of responsibility, personalization, Business Process Management (BPM), approval, and configurations.
  • Completion of at least one full implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP/SCM/HCM) in a technical role.
  • Experience with Oracle PaaS solutions: Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Process Automation, and Visual Builder Cloud Service functionality & knowledge of technical development best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of application support & development methodologies, tools, and frameworks, such as ITIL, DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, code repositories, etc.
  • Ensure “security by design” principles are integrated into all aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture and development processes and other corporate systems.
  • Experience performing high-quality code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and inspire others.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Highly customer-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and value.

  • Proven ability to scale team, build and retain talent.
  • Proven ability to execute third-party integrations without disruption.

  • Strong data management abilities.
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements and ability to design, execute and deliver.
  • Excellent English and excellent communication skills.

Other Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of HR, Legal, Training, Onboarding, Corporate Portals, and Tax systems.
  • Familiarity with MDM (Master Data Management) for customer and financials.
  • Microsoft M365 and collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of Integration Platforms, Security, Network, Infrastructure, & Cloud Compute.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud certification(s) is a plus.
