Maimonides Medical Center currently has an excellent opportunity for a full time, highly motivated accounting professional to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Specifically, some responsibilities will be:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EPSI Cost Accounting Module including extracts, data loads, tables, and contracts.
• Work with the SVP of Financial Operations to implement procedures to ensure the accurate collection, summarization, reporting and interpretation of budget, cost, statistics, and outcome data.
• Establish and implement Hospital specific costing methodologies for determining specific cost data relative to procedures and products.
• Develops updates and maintains allocation criteria for direct and indirect costs.

Formulates and distributes reports for departments and management personnel to prepare and assess business plan, model contracts, analyze variances, monitor productivity, and produce accurate fixed and flexed budgets.

To qualify, you must possess:

• BS Finance or Accounting or Health Care Administration
• 7+ years experience with Healthcare Cost Accounting, EPSI experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is Required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access is Preferred

Salary Range: $210,000 $235,000
