A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Job Overview / Responsibilities:
  • Candidate to Lead Credit Algo Quant & Electronic Trading desk
  • Responsible for managing market, credit & operational risk across electronic trading platform
  • Partnering closely with Quant developers, Electronic product and technology teams to design, develop and implement quantitative algorithms focused on credit markets
  • Research and identify market inefficiencies to develop quantitative trading strategies
  • Develop market-making, arbitrage and relative value strategies in order to facilitate client activity
  • Perform statistical analysis, optimize large datasets and perform back-testing to enhance and optimize strategies as market dynamics fluctuate
  • Actively trade and monitor markets, developing optimal hedging and risk management strategies to ensure performance of business
  • Ensure performance and risk of strategies are aligned with firm's risk framework and appetite
  • Grow market-share, profitability of business and expand product sub-set as business strategies evolve
Job Requirements & Skills:
  • Strong quantitative skills, including, financial modeling, statistics, thorough credit analysis, strong foundation in mathematics and working with large data-sets
  • Experience leading teams, both directly and partnering closely with business partners, including, quant & product developers, technology, operations and other functions
  • Proficiency in multiple coding languages
  • Deep understanding of credit and fixed income market structure, rules & regulations
Experience Required:
  • 10yrs + experience in fixed income & credit markets trading & risk management
  • Proven track record of business building and platform development
  • Educational background in areas of statistics, applied mathematics, finance, computer science or related fields preferred
  • Strong collaborator, willingness to train team members, effective communication skills
  • Relevant regulatory licensing preferred (Series 7, 63, 24) at start, necessary for role
The typical base pay range for this role is between $255K - $330K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
