Director, Data & Analytics Club Business SupportNew YorkThe NFL Data & Analytics team is looking for aDirector of Club Business Support with deep experience in the business application of data & analytics to drive business objectives and the creation of data & analytics products that drive business decisioning.The Director is responsible for driving the utilization and adoption of the League's data & analytics capabilities and services with the 32 Club and making our insights, analysis and models easily digestible and actionable. They will work with multiple stakeholders at the League and Club to drive adoption and enable Club use cases. The role is also responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to identity new data & analytics products to support the Clubs' business operations as well as providing new ways to centralize access to the League's overall capabilities.This role plays an integral part in driving the League's 1:1 Fan Engagement program by enabling the Clubs to easily access, analyze and leverage data & analytics to make informed decisions and drive overall fan engagement.This role is based onsite in our New York offices.Responsibilities:
- Drive adoption and utilization of the League's data & analytic capabilities by providing strategic thought leadership to the 32 Clubs by understanding their business objectives and providing new and innovative ways to help achieve them.
- Implement a Club engagement framework to effectively support and advance their data & analytics use including sharing best practices, creating use cases and advising on new ways to support revenue generating activities.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the business application of data and analytics in the context of the Clubs key business priorities and find opportunities to engage around new ideas/concepts and enhancements on the current product offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ideate on new data products and analytic models based on feedback from the Clubs and support the testing and implementation of these solutions.
- Partner with the data engineering team to provide data access optionality and enhance the current data accessibility by exploring and implementing modern avenues for data access and integration.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant areas of study.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the data and analytics space with a focus on the business application of data & analytics products to drive business outcomes
- Knowledge of how data products, analytical products or models are built.
- Experience in quantitative analysis geared towards drawing actionable insights from datasets
- Understanding of data integration tools
- Demonstrated the ability to work directly with customers to lead high priority initiatives and act as a trusted advisor
- Experience with A/B testing/multivariate testing/experimentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Possesses excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detailTravel:10% to 15% travel.Terms /Expected Hours of Work:NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
