Roles and Responsibilities
- Own and Execute Data Engineering programs and workstreams catering to multiple business areas like Risk, Commercial Bank and Marketing.
- Provide inputs to add, enhance and maintain Webster's data architecture, data flows and underlying cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of talented data engineers and build a world class data engineering team.
- Partner with Webster business users, vendors, and other Webster IT teams to ensure program objectives are met. Setup cadence calls with them to track progress and manage project risks.
- Evaluate system architecture from data perspective and provide architectural solutions for complex integration use cases.
- Oversee development of scalable pipelines with accompanying audit and process controls.
- Run POCs and Implementation for various Informatica Cloud (IDMC) Products and Services. Spread awareness about the capabilities of informatica cloud to business and IT teams.
- Implement Webster's data and tool modernization goals.
Experience Needed
- At least 10 years of experience in data space with 3-5 years of experience in leading and mentoring data integration/engineering teams.
- Experienced data solutions architect with in-depth knowledge of Cloud, On Prem and Hybrid data ecosystems and services. Have played key role in Data Modernization initiatives.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000.00 to $180,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
