EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONRequired - EducationBachelor's Degree in related field.
- Experience5 years of experience working in Hospital Decision Support. Prior experience with the use of Eclipsys TSI or McKesson Trendstar, hospital decision support including cost accounting, familiarity with the technical management of a decision support system, previous supervisory experience, and experience working with reporting customers (business executives, financial analysts, etc.)
Additional work experience can be considered in lieu of education requirement.
PreferredJOB DUTIES - Demonstrate continuous performance improvement in targeted areas of responsibility in alignment with the overall annual Hospital performance improvement targets.
- Responsible for charge-master, revenue integrity and denials.
- Works collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle department.
- Meets or exceeds financial goals and objectives of the department.
- Provide managerial oversight for Decision Support functions and staff.
- Support and coordinate hospital wide financial and clinical initiatives.
- Will serve as a resource to both Financial and Clinical leadership to support organizational decision making, clinical and financial initiatives and strategic planning activities.
