OverviewAs the Director, of Digital Insurance Platforms by Paychex, you will be responsible for driving the overall strategy, growth, and execution of Paychex Digital Insurance business. This role requires strong leadership across multiple functions, including product, engineering, and operations, while ensuring alignment with Paychex's broader objectives. You will collaborate closely with other areas of Paychex to find strategic opportunities, work with the leadership of Paychex Insurance Agency (PIA) to align efforts and manage relationships with contractor agencies. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the budget, reporting to Paychex leadership, and keeping them updated on the Digital Insurance Platform strategy.We are seeking a director who has at least 5 years of experience in a high-growth technology business, with expertise in either product, operations, or general management. You should be strategic, results-oriented, and have a passion for driving business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall strategy for the Digital Insurance Platform, ensuring alignment with Paychex's broader vision.Collaborate with Paychex leadership and other departments to identify and leverage strategic opportunities for growth.Work closely with the leadership of Paychex Insurance Agency (PIA) to ensure that Digital Insurance Platform efforts align with PIA's best interests.Manage the Engineering and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.Oversee and manage relationships with contractor agencies and external partners.Present strategic updates and progress to Paychex leadership, ensuring full transparency on Digital Insurance Platform performance and direction.Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective lead conversion, continuously refining strategies to improve conversion rates and align product offerings with customer needs.Manage the budget for the Digital Insurance Platform division, ensuring efficient resource allocation and tracking financial performance.Ensure that the Digital Insurance Platform product development and engineering efforts remain on track and aligned with business objectives.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesLead and prioritize the execution of key initiatives to meet business goals.Monitor and manage risk across key projects, ensuring timely delivery.Drive continuous improvements in product and operations by leveraging data analysis and customer insights.Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and timely implementation of new features and solutions.Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the division, while driving performance across functional areas.Qualifications5+ years of experience in a high-growth technology business, with a focus on product, operations, or general management.Strong experience managing budgets and financial performance.Ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership across multiple functions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and present to stakeholders.A strategic thinker with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results through collaboration.Highly adaptable, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
