Job Description:
McLane is developing a unique set of early-stage initiatives growing services related to eCommerce. These include a business-to-business website and ecommerce fulfillment solution providing brands and retailers including convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and chain restaurants ways to reduce cost and fulfill in an omni channel environment.The Director, eCommerce Program Management will use knowledge of emerging commerce tools and resources to assist in identifying, vetting and validating key projects to drive eCommerce business growth. This position partners closely with stakeholders across Operations, IT, Sales and Merchandising from all levels to analyze business opportunities, generate business cases, project requirements, and tools execute projects to meet those requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
  • Use knowledge and experience in eCommerce, Supply Chain and Logistics to review, analyze and implement improvements in company processes and procedures
  • Provide in-depth understanding of business strategy, challenges, services, and project roadmaps.
  • Understand customer issues and requirements and provide suitable solutions after thorough analysis of competitor of current offerings
  • Drive projects from start to finish by managing timelines, managing information flow, providing data analysis, and contributing to overall strategy.
  • Maintain departmental documentation related to projects and changes
  • Focus on managing project flow, design, ensuring projects meet the short and long-term business objectives.
  • Suggest improvement modifications as necessary.
  • Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
  • This position may have additional duties; special projects may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:A teammate in this position must:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or business analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to jump in and quickly learn and understand a project from both high-level and detailed-level views
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to set goals and define milestones
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, efficient, and attentive to details
