Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of HVAC engineers and technicians to achieve high performance.
- Provide technical guidance and cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Project Management
- Plan, manage, and ensure the successful delivery of HVAC projects on time and within budget.
- Proactively monitor project milestones and address any challenges to meet client and company objectives.
Service Delivery
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum system performance and uptime.
Client Relations
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients by delivering top-notch service and technical expertise.
- Address client inquiries promptly, offering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
Operational Oversight
- Refine and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to support operational goals.
- Provide detailed financial and operational reports to senior management.
Training and Development
- Identify team skill gaps and coordinate professional development initiatives to stay current with evolving HVAC technologies and practices.
Industry Knowledge and Innovation
- Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Champion innovative solutions and integrate cutting-edge HVAC advancements into service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of HVAC industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including design, installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software, project management tools, and the MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications, such as LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or EPA Universal Certification, are highly desirable.
