Job Summary:##Lead and manage departmental operations for Environmental Services including housekeeping and laundry services.# Responsible for establishing and improving processes for environmental infection prevention, environmental aesthetics, and overall facility appearance to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.# Ensure linen processing and distribution support patient care and customer needs.# Improve department and organizational performance and implement practices, policies and procedures for highly reliable Environmental Services.# Ensure exceptional performance by defining # monitoring key performance indicators related to turnover, productivity, management, linen availability, and service excellence.# Maintain effective cost controls and productivity standards.# Identify opportunities for improvement in departmental operations.# Uphold corporate compliance standards and regulatory or professional requirements. Maintain knowledge about and implement processes for bio-hazardous, chemical, and pharmaceutical waste management.# Must be proactive, self motivated and demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities. Lead by example through CaroMont CARES and ensure all staff demonstrates CARES. # Qualifications:# #Bachelor#s and Masters degree from recognized college or institution required.# CHESP (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional) preferred.# Requisite 7 years of environmental services management experience in healthcare or hospitality setting.# Knowledge of regulatory agencies and requirements including JCAHO, OSHA, EPA, NCDENR; and knowledge of environmental infection prevention standards and linen processing.# Demonstrated skills include leadership talent, performance improvement techniques, environmental and work place safety, employee engagement, financial metrics, planning, group facilitation, environmental aesthetics, computer applications and data analysis. # EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
