Job DescriptionDirects, plans, and organizes the activities of the Environmental Services Department. Ensures overall strategic planning, budgeting and quality management of Environmental Services and Linen Departments.Job Responsibility* Leads an Environmental Services group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area.* Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.* Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Environmental Services Department.* Identifies and analyzes needs in all areas on all shifts; investigates new procedures and techniques.* Develops and implements action plans to meet needs and improve service.* Develops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action.* Oversees the development, coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and performance evaluation of operating policies and procedures consistent and in collaboration with all guidelines.* Develops and manages direct reports; oversees the development and management of their staff.* Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.* Oversees compliance with government and agency regulations.* Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.Job Qualification* Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.* 8-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.* RCRA and/or DOT certification for generating, storing, and shipping hazardous waste and materials, preferred.* Additional Salary DetailThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
