Job Description:
The Director, Field Sales is responsible for the strategic guidance of field sales through door to door, and partner retailers including, Wal-Mart, Boost and Local vendor partnerships. Deliver incremental revenue and productgrowth at key customer decision points, while maintaining a heightened focus on outstanding customer service. Through effective leadership, exceeding company sales goals and enhance strategies that drive higher sales effectiveness.What You'll Do:
  • Goal oriented, highly communicative with solid leadership skills, embraces employee development and empowerment, flexible and innovative with problem solving and displays control while supervising to meet objectives.
  • Drives self and team to deliver on every KPI within all distribution points.
  • Serves as an inspirational leader who knows their people and what drives them to succeed. Works side-by-side to meet or exceed goals; maximize potential of both team members and sales channel as a whole.
  • Recruits, interviews, selects, manages, and develops a high-performing sales team that meets or exceeds sales objectives across all Cox product lines, managing staffing at all levels.
  • Executes and demonstrates required coaching strategy with all direct reports and ensures execution of coaching program at all levels of sales channel; actively and successfully coaches each team member based on their strengths and weaknesses and develops them for future positions/assignments.
  • Develops sales strategies and executes initiatives to achieve overarching quotas in a customer/solution centric environment where 100% attainment is the minimum expectation.
  • Seeks out and seizes opportunities and takes initiative with little or no direction.
  • Oversees and manages overall operations and financial performance indicators.
  • Monitors/analyzes sales performance and drives improvements in revenue growth, productivity, quality and optimization of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures store appearance is in compliance with ongoing marketing campaigns and meets or exceeds department standards.
  • Manage to OpEx budget.
  • Establishes and leverages strong partnerships with key departments and internal/external customers to increase market share; including, but not limited to Pricing, Sales Operations, Marketing, and Business Operations.
  • Drives alignment and consistency in people practices, management activities, overall performance management and customer service delivery in an effort to achieve personal and department goals.
  • Travel Expectation - 50%.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in management or leadership role.
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.Preferred:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in: Leadership, Sales, Retention.
