11th November, 2024Position Summary This position will report to the VP of Finance at the Medical Center and work in collaboration with the corporate finance offices in the ECU Health system. This position will have responsibility for the direction and leadership of operational, financial and programmatic activities for Finance, primarily focused on financial operational excellence within the Medical Center. Minimum Requirements Bachelors requiredMasters is required; or 15 years work experience within a finance functionMinimum 7 years of progressively more responsible experience in health care financePrevious managerial experience is preferredStrong excel / computer skillsAnalytical skills with proven ability to resolve issues/problems by leveraging business and functional knowledge, and client relationshipsAbility to translate complex financial data and analysis into presentations for appropriate audience.High level of interpersonal, management and organizational skills are necessary with special focus on customer service orientation skillsDemonstrate credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authorityAbility to bring individuals together to resolve differences and/or to achieve acceptance of a solutionCollaborative working style to facilitate open sharing of information and cooperation with various project participants and/or stakeholdersMust be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the mission, vision and goals of ECU HealthRole preferred to mostly be on site with ability to work from home if and when needed, minimum expectation hybrid splitting the week with in office and work from home.
