As the Director of Fleet and Facilities Maintenance, you'll lead and plan the operations of our multi-unit fleet and facilities services across the organization. Your role will be pivotal in defining and executing our fleet and facilities maintenance strategy, building relationships with national accounts, and enhancing our fleet design. You'll also develop and maintain effective record-keeping, scheduling, and data collection tools, working closely with internal customers to anticipate and meet our organization's needs. Key Responsibilities include: Strategic Planning: Build and maintain the strategic plan for fleet and facilities maintenance, including vendor strategy and maintenance programs. Negotiate with key suppliers and lead best practices with a focus on continuous improvement.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all fleet regulatory requirements, industry trends, technology solutions, and customer needs. Proactively manage risks and opportunities, ensuring a safe environment and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Budget Management: Lead the development of the annual fleet and facilities budget, including operating and capital spend. Conduct monthly budget variance analysis and cost reconciliations, partnering with senior leadership.Team Leadership: Plan, build, and lead a strong team of vehicle and facilities maintenance team members. Collaborate with team members on career development and goal setting.Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and performance across key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, maintenance performance, and total life cycle cost. Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing a fleet and/or facilities maintenance operation (preferably both). Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end supply chain strategies for fuel and dry goods.Experience in procuring fleet assets and strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics, including warehousing and distribution operations. Experience in industry trends and best practices for emerging fleet solutions.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) required for successful collaboration and influence across all levels of the organization.Proven ability to develop and implement business plans and goals, with strong leadership skills to prioritize activities and motivate team members.Excellent analytical skills ability to quickly identify issues and opportunities, driving process improvements and efficiencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
