It is an exciting time to be a part of the Church's Texas Chicken/Texas Chicken brand. We are adding to our International franchise development team, an experienced Director, New Business Restaurant Franchise Development for The Americas. This candidate must bring experience in sourcing and developing franchise business with new and existing restaurant/QSR franchise operators with experience in The Americas and Caribbean regions. This position is responsible for the development of meaningful franchise relationships, market planning, and real estate that will enable the company to drive increased market share and unit growth. This professional must have experience in a multi-unit restaurant and/or QSR environment.

This professional must have experience selling (developing business) in a multi-unit restaurant and/or QSR franchise environment.

The candidate can be located in Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Houston or anywhere in the US close to an airline hub to easily travel to locations we are developing. This candidate will source qualified franchise candidates in priority markets and be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Must have experience and a proven track record of working with franchisees in Central America, Brazil, Panama, Columbia, Peru and Costa Rica. Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Bringing to the table experience in new franchisee acquisition/development within a restaurant franchise system or working with a large multinational franchise system above the restaurant level.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in recruiting and converting medium and large scale franchisees in a franchise sales environment.
  • Must have the ability and experience interfacing and maintaining excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences including franchise partners, operations, marketing, finance and legal departments.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting and delivering development plans to accomplish goals.
  • Solid understanding of finance (pro-formas, break evens, balance sheet, credit reports and asset validations).
  • Has experience and ability to identify new franchisees through previous relationships.
  • Initiate and promote new franchise lead generation that attracts prospective multi-unit franchisees. Taking these prospective franchise candidates through the recruitment process to ensure a smooth handover to the regional leaders.
  • Ensure agreement deal terms comply with the brands standard international terms.
  • Facilitate New Franchisee Orientation process with regional leader for the new franchisee.
  • Must have excellent communications skills in both English and Spanish with the ability to prepare formal presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel extensively internationally to the regions you will support.
