Job Description:

JOBSUMMARY

The Director, Helium Supply Chain & ProductManagement role has direct responsibility for managing Matheson's globalhelium logistics, helium sourcing contract administration and productmanagement responsibility for Matheson's U.S. helium business. Therole is also responsible for managing the Sales & Operations Planningprocess and for managing the inputs and analysis of the P&L.

EssentialFunctions

Essential Function

GlobalLogistics

  • Manage worldwide bulk liquid helium shipmentsthough a staff of three (4) direct reports located in Irving, TX; Polandand Dubai, UAE

SourcingContract Administration

  • Manage existing sourcing contracts and supplyarrangements
  • Monitor take-or-pay commitments
  • Manage helium storage contract & in-kindpurchases
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings
  • Develop annual sourcing budget

GlobalSupply Portfolio Optimization

  • Maintain relationships with competitors'logistics teams
  • Pursue trades, swaps, tolling, backup,container rental, as required

U.S.Product Management

  • Coordinate customer strategy with field sales
  • Develop product pricing for new business &renewals
  • Provide helium sales training for field salesteams
  • Coordinate price adjustments
  • Communicate marketing strategy

General

  • Provide input to development of Global Helium'sbusiness strategies
  • Manage the business within agreed operatingexpense budgets
  • Contribute to special projects such ascontainer requirement modeling, helium related capital investmentanalysis, etc.
