General Summary:
Provides strategic oversight for the management of product fulfillment, in-stock levels, and inventory management for all SKUs (including import and DSD SKUs) to support distribution center and store forecast and replenishment.
Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees, at a high level, the management of inventory at distribution centers and stores for an assigned group of vendors and categories.
Develops key performance indicators for vendors.
Strategizes with key cross-functional teams (merchants, planners) to ensure inventory levels align with merchandise policy and financial goals.
Oversight of network inventory analyses to identify issues/opportunities and development of action plans to support company financial goals.
Directs vendor collaboration and score-carding.
Develops new item entrance and exit strategies (planogram resets).
Develops and drives various seasonal categories.
Develops promotional and event planning and execution strategies.
HR responsibilities include managing to include selection, training, performance management, and development for movement within department/organization.
