This position involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring the efficient management of resources to drive operational excellence and cost savings.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute the strategic procurement plans by interpreting global industry trends, customer requirements and business objectivesOversee supply chain operations, including sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to address potential supply disruptions.Drive procurement strategies and supplier engagement to ensure the achievement of business objectivesIdentify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and procurement processes.Build and execute the procurement process to ensure timely fulfillment of procurement requestsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to build solid supply chain managementConduct the procurement processes to ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulationsAnalyze data to drive decision-making and improve overall effectiveness.Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals to build an effective and competitive supply chainCollaborate internally and externally to build the supply chain, drive cost reduction and contract executionDrive the supplier development to improve the quality system of key suppliersProvide fact-based analysis to support targeted competitive market positioning and growthConduct thorough assessments of potential suppliers based on their quality management systems, capabilities, and past performance.Utilize audits and site visits to evaluate supplier processes and quality controls.Engage with client leaders to understand their requirements and address them in the solutions lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate social responsibility initiatives.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in business management, project management, engineering, or a relevant field. MBA is preferred15+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, including 5 years in a leadership role at least, the experience in Automotive and Commercial Vehicle industry is preferredStrong knowledge of procurement best practices, processes and technologiesProven track record of leading procurement transformations and implementing processesStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsFinancial acumen and budgeting experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skillsProficiency in procurement technologies and toolsDeep understanding of procurement compliance and risk managementExperience with ERP systems and procurement software.The ability to work with a diverse and cross-functional team and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to travel.LanguagesEnglish mandatory.
