Summary
This position leads a team of Global Program & Project Managers for DX projects in specific areas such as Functional Units (R&D, Tech, CSPV, QA), Business Units, and Corporate Functions. They are responsible for ensuring consistent and effective management of approved Global and Regional IT projects and optimized PM resource allocation.Responsibilities- Program and Project Delivery PgM/PM Assignment: Assign Program Managers (PgM) and Project Managers (PM) to global and regional programs and projects. Vendor Management: Identify, develop and oversee relationships with 3rd party services providers to source external Project Management resources to augment existing employees and meet increasing project demands. Program Management: Guide Program Managers to design and charter programs to efficiently plan, execute, and manage a group of interdependent projects to realize overall program benefits in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Lead PgMs and PMs to manage the delivery of approved IT programs and projects ensuring the quality of PM activities including: communication, planning and management of schedule, budget, scope, issue risk management, and quality/outcomes. Communication: Ensure that assigned PMs provide timely and accurate reporting and articulation of the strategic value of programs and projects to stakeholders across levels including DXLT members. Project planning: Ensure that assigned PMs create and maintain project plans, proposing necessary resources, workstream leads, and KPIs to track progress and help stakeholders make decisions. Program and Project monitoring and management: Ensure that assigned PMs actively manage programs and projects throughout the process including progress and schedule, budget, and scope, ensuring the initiative is on track and adheres to the strategic goals. Issue and Risk management and reporting: Ensure that assigned PMs identify and manage issues and risks such as scope, budget, and schedule overruns and report to appropriate stakeholders.- Project and Program delivery framework and systems: Establish and update Project and Program delivery methodology including variances for project types and complexity. Establish, maintain, and champion company best practices and standardization of program and project management processes, methodologies, and systems in alignment with established and emerging disciplines. Provide and promote system ownership of program/project and work management tools to ensure alignment with processes and methodologies

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)- Bachelor's Degree required or- Master's Degree in the field of computer science, business administration, management Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or its equivalent or higher preferred
Experience Qualifications- 10 or More Years 8 or more years of relevant experience in global program and project management or alternative relevant experience preferred- 7 or More Years Extensive experience in managing complex projects and portfolios in a senior or leadership role required- 4 or More Years Proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership required- Demonstrated experience in aligning projects with organizational strategies and objectives required- Demonstrated experience in developing Project Management Offices (PMO) with project management frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistent delivery- Aligning projects with organizational strategies and objectives required- Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with projects (Required) required- Experience in establishing, implementing, or refining project and program delivery methodologies required- Experience in optimizing resource allocation, including human resources, budget, and technology preferred- Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred
Travel
