As the
Director Global Quality Assurance, you have direct supervisory responsibility for a designated production area. Responsible for managing all PMC QA functions, works with top leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule.You will report to the Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Director. This role may be based in our Little Rock office.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement, support a Quality Management System that assures high quality products are produced and that supporting processes build their role in quality. This role sets quality direction for the company and establishes/ enforces quality standards, testing and inspection protocols and broad application of customer feedback.
- Establish quality standards by studying industry, product, and customer requirements.
- Help develop in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods and creating testing methods and procedures.
- Establish standards for the disposition of finished product.
- Maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies, procedures, and government requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that new products are developed that meet customer requirements through quality tools.
- Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting information and trends.
- Benchmark company quality performance with competitors and similar industry.
- Ensure quality by overseeing, and appraising results.
- Achieve financial goals by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Create global Quality management system.
- Align ISO9001 standard internal and external audits globally.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Ten (10) or more years of manufacturing experience.
- Ten (10)10 or more years of Quality Management experience, including Quality Assurance, Quality Control and QMS development.
- Five (5) or more years of management experience managing multiple locations, regionally or globally.
- Ability to lead a complex matrix organization.
- Experience with project management.
- Most have Lead Auditor certification.
- 6 Sigma Greenbelt minimum.
