GENERAL SUMMARY
Directs the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned area(s).
Responsibilities:
* Develops and administers business plans reflecting the organization's mission and goals.
* Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
* Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.
* Plans and manages the department's financial operations including budget development, expense and revenue analysis, evaluation of services and development activities.
* Oversees the ongoing related education and training of leadership, staff, and physicians across the system, and communicates their respective responsibilities in carrying out the program.
* Collects and analyzes volunteer utilization data demonstrating measured impact, increased patient satisfaction scores, lowered readmission rates and increased organizational focus on patient and family centered care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
* -OR- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management
* Bachelor's with Master's degree preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
* Experience in nonprofit preferred.
* Experience with financial reporting preferred.
