Director/Head of Client Services/Investor Relations -Hedge Fund/VC Fund - 10billion-NYC 500k++
Our client is a collegiate growing fund with a mission to give back to society. The firm has under 10billion aum and under 100 employees. They are looking for a Head/Director of Client Services/ Investor Relations . This person would own the Due Diligence, Rfp, Fund admin relationships, CRM and the ESG initiative. This is a management role that will involve a lot of exposure and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee firm's monthly and quarterly capital activity transactions and schedules (subscriptions, redemptions, transfer)
- Serve as firm liaison between investors and fund administrator
- Represent the client's investor services on weekly calls with fund administrator
- Manage RFP process and operational due diligence meetings
- Produce monthly and quarterly investor reporting: tear sheets, marketing decks, risk reporting, DDQ, ad-hoc reporting. Work closely with accounting team to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead firm's initiation into ESG by formulating policy, approach, and external messaging
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of fund documents, investor terms
- Manage investor data within CRM system and optimize functionality
- Contribute to the firm by thinking strategically about process and reporting optimization and future needs. Assess gaps on an ongoing basis
- Manage investor services aspects of two upcoming fund launches, scaling the team and its output as required
- Work closely with compliance on intermittent regulatory issues, side letter production, AML/KYC issues
Qualifications and Skills
- 8 years relevant experience in investor relations in the alternative investment environment
- Strong knowledge of operations, compliance and investor accounting concepts
- Exposure to new product launches and new service provider selection and onboarding
- Strong oral and written communication, presentation skills
- Broad exposure to major counterparties in the industry, different fund administrators, etc.
- Management experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems common in the industry (knowledge of Dynamo a plus)
