Salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.Global Banking and MarketsGlobal Banking and Markets (GBM) is a leading Canadian Capital Markets and Investment Banking business with a growing platform in the US and Latin America, operating globally for over 100 years.PurposeThe Head of US IT Infrastructure is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of all IT infrastructure services across the United States for a large global banking institution.What You'll DoService Delivery Management:Lead the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure services, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability of systems.Oversee the management of servers, storage, network infrastructure, and cloud services.Oversee the delivery of end user technologies for high touch users within Trading and Investment banking areas.Infrastructure Remediation Initiatives:Drive local execution and tracking of infrastructure remediation initiatives.Collaborate with internal teams to identify, prioritize, and implement necessary remediation actions.Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices:Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices specific to the financial services industry.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.Support local CIO with participation and support for regulatory exams and meetings.Team Leadership and Development:Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of IT infrastructure professionals.Foster collaboration and communication across departments.Stakeholder Engagement:Act as a key liaison between IT and business units.Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.Experience in support of trading floor technology.Proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Interested?If your experience is closely related but doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we do encourage you to apply.At Scotiabank, every employee is empowered to reach their fullest potential.What's in it for you?Scotiabank wants you to be able to bring your best self to work - and life, every day.Location(s): United States : New York : New York City#J-18808-Ljbffr
