The Company is dedicated to building a diverse environment and has an unwavering commitment to creating a sense of belonging for all employees.What You'll DoAs the Director of HR you will oversee all HR strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees. You will also be responsible for HR operations, HR policies and compliance with employment law. The candidate should be prepared to be an individual contributor and work in a fast-paced environment. - This is a difference making role with a high level of responsibility, input, and visibility to the leadership team at DPI. The role will report directly to the CFO. The position is available in New York.
  • HR Strategy
    • Work with business leaders to drive a culture that aligns with the company's values
    • Plan team building events at the appropriate cadence
    • Gauge employee satisfaction informally and through surveys. Subsequently suggest improvements.
  • HR Operations
    • Lead all recruiting for the firm
    • Manage all employee onboarding
    • Manage performance reviews and engagement surveys
    • Develop mentoring and coaching session for employees
    • Create and implement a comprehensive plan for employee development
    • Oversee employee relations and firm-wide communication on HR matters
    • Conduct comprehensive benchmark analysis of compensation and benefits
    • Collaborate with team leads to work through issues, fill gaps, and refine processes when needed
  • HR Policies
    • Work with General Counsel and other partners to align HR objectives with written HR policies
  • Compliance with Employment Law
    • Supervise the firm's compliance with employment law and regulatory matters. The firm currently operates in the United States, Canada and the Philippines. We have HR professionals in the Philippines to provide local guidance and support.
Qualifications
  • Proven background of having managed the HR function at a fast-growing firm
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development
  • Above average written and spoken communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint and Excel), Lattice, andTriNet
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and experience working with a corporate employment law attorney;
  • Evidence of the ability to practice and coach organization managers in the practice of a high level of confidentiality;
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development;
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions;
  • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred.
SalaryThe expected salary for this position ranges from $150,000 - $170,000 and eligible for a discretionary bonus.
