Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)The Director, HRIS is responsible for leading the management, and optimization of RUMC's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday. This position plays a pivotal role in driving HR technology initiatives, ensuring efficient system operations, and delivering analytics to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in HRIS leadership within healthcare settings and expertise in Workday optimization.
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and performance of Workday and other HR technology platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for system upgrades, enhancements, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS processes and workflows.
- Assemble HR metrics and data from a range of sources including the Human Resource Information System, employment records, government labor statistics, competitor's practices, and other sources
- Manage records by creating, maintaining and auditing employee personnel files/records in HRIS system, and in electronic file system
- Provide accurate data, supporting the HR team with various performance management, compensation, onboarding and recruitment projects
- Runs reports from HRIS system as needed
- Collaborate with IT department and vendors to resolve application issues or coordinate system upgrades
- Assists in development of best practices and processes for HR operations
- Install, develop, customize, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. (Masters Preferred)
- 8+ years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Proven expertise in Workday implementation, configuration, and management.
- Excellent project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
