Are you ready to drive business growth through powerful insights and innovative strategies? As the Director, Human Intelligence – North America, you'll ensure our regional and local leadership teams have the hindsight, insight, and foresight needed for fact-based decision-making on existing business and new innovations.

Lead the Mars Wrigley Insights organization across North America, building human centricity through deep understanding of consumers, shoppers, and market trends. You'll influence key stakeholders, including the Regional President, North American CMO, and Global VP of Human Intelligence, to drive competitive advantage in the marketplace. Your focus will include demand segmentation and portfolio segmentation across the entire Mars Snacking portfolio.

What are we looking for?

  • Educational Background: Degree in Consumer/Shopper Insights / Market Research or related field; MBA or equivalent in a related field (business or social science) preferred.
  • Extensive Experience: 10 years' experience in consumer/shopper insights and market research (preferably in CPG); 3+ years' experience in line management and team leadership
  • Data Literacy & Insights: Highly data literate, proven ability to generate insights from a wide variety of data sources (syndicated data, ad hoc research, 3rd party sources, 1st party data) to create globally scalable insights
  • Proven Expertise: Proven track record of shaping business strategy
  • Identify & Influence Strategies: Identify, understand and translate trends in strategic framework driving category and MW growth

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Solve Business Challenges: Translate business needs into human-centric solutions using big data, analytics, insights, and research to tackle complex problems.
  • Drive Decision-Making: Use key insights and data to provide an objective perspective, enabling effective and efficient decision-making in key business processes.
  • Unlock Growth: Partner with the One Demand Regional Leadership Team on prioritized workstreams, connecting the dots across brand & content, innovation, portfolio strategy, and Price Pack Architecture to drive growth.
  • Implement Global Strategies Locally: Adapt proven global capabilities and processes to deliver effective regional applications.
  • Champion Innovation: Lead the adoption of Growth Philosophy and Flywheel across the region, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop a team of Insights professionals, driving engagement and talent development across the region.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Own relationships with key external agencies at a regional level, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Set the Agenda: Align the regional insights agenda with business priorities, setting the research agenda and budget, and influencing the global insights agenda to meet regional needs.
  • Shape the Future: Be an active member of the Global Human Intelligence Council, helping to shape the vision, strategy, and talent agenda for Insights.
