  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the clinic's goals and objectives.
  • Recruitment & Retention:
    • Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement retention strategies for long-term staffing stability.
    • Oversee scheduling, screening, background checks, and qualifications verifications.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure a healthy, productive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement a performance evaluation process, provide constructive feedback, and assist in employee development. Create efficient, productive procedures for reviews and feedback.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including employment standards, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Assist with payroll, employee compensation plans, and benefits. Address employee questions regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Professional Growth: Develop programs for professional development specifically within the HR department, as well as clinic wide.
  • Policy Development: Create and update clinic policies and procedures to reflect current labor laws and clinic needs. Ensure staff adherence to policies.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in our work culture, valuing the contributions of all employees.
  • Records Management: Maintain and update employee records and files in compliance with state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
  • Employee Accountability: Address staff errors professionally and promptly, ensuring proper documentation and resolution. Proactively monitor staff.
  • Work-Life Balance: Promote a culture of work-life balance for all employees.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster collaborative engagement across all departments to maximize the utilization of HR resources.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge, time, and experience in the Human Resources field (5+ years minimum).
  • Must hold Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Human Resources.
    • Preferred HR certification as well (i.e. SHRM, HRCI, etc.)
  • Management experience (5+ years minimum).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and teach.
  • Professional, confident demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to develop HR strategies that align with and support business objectives.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and creativity to adapt to changing environments and challenges.
