POSITION SUMMARY Acts as a Human Resources (HR) Leader in providing employees with a safe, supportive and engaging workplace which promotes personal and professional development. Helps to align HR strategy to business strategy, particularly focusing on applying HR policies/programs to business, talent and/or organizational issues, including the resolution of complex employee relations issues. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. This is a non-union position. Salary Range: $130,678-$196,017 annuallyAdventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.Requirements:POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: required Masters Degree: preferred. Experience: Ten or more (10+) years' of progressive Human Resource Management experience, and a proven track record of success. Healthcare industry and labor relations experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates: SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provides strategic HR consulting services, such as organizational design and change management to local/facility leaders and employee managers. Assesses impact of HR and talent programs. Leads with an operational focus, setting strategy, objectives and policies. Participates as a strategic partner in long-range business planning, introduction of new programs and strategies, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a champion in the elevation of the culture, engagement and performance of our employees. Establishes operational objectives for the department including work plans and delegating assignments to team. Leads and advises on talent management practices related to organizational design and change management, workforce planning, leadership/employee development and training, performance management and compensation reviews, career/succession planning and workforce analytics/organizational effectiveness. Leads and/or supports investigation and resolution of escalated complex employee relations issues as required. Assists with monitoring and strategic planning of equity/trends in compensation and management of total rewards program. Oversees staff learning and development. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policy and long-term goals of the department(s). Leads and oversees Human Resources staff, as appropriate.
