PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).The Director, Information Technology serves within the PSLD-Logistics Information Services (LIS) organization and is accountable for providing IT solutions and services to PSLD Integrated Logistics Services (ILS), Global Logistics Procurement, and the Enterprise Trade Center of Excellence (TCOE). The scope of these IT solutions and services covers inbound parts to manufacturing, logistics facility operations, global transportation for parts and machines, global trade operations, and PSLD logistics procurement. The role leads a globally diverse, high-performing organization of 175 (plus) IT professionals and manages a departmental budget of $40M (plus). LIS emphasizes a people-first culture, characterized by a work climate where we trust, value, and empower our team members. Build proactive, responsive relationships to ensure alignment of business objectives with technology solutions.Provide technology thought leadership, keeping in tune with industry and technology changes.Deliver high-availably, leading IT services through best-in-class service level management practices with the ability to flex with changing business demands.Ensure the IT landscape meets defined benchmarks (Quality, Velocity, Cost).Manage IT vendor relationships (internal & external).Develop and manage to the IT budget.
