he Director, JMG Finance Leadership, leads accounting and finance business operations for all of JMG East (40+ Practices, Department, 150+ Physicians) and assists the JMG VP of Finance with leading accounting and finance business operations for all regions within JMG. Responsibilities include leading financial reporting, financial planning, Budgeting, Revenue Cycle, Billing, Business Development, Funds Flow, Capital, and utilization of IT / Finance Applications (PeopleSoft G/L, Hyperion, EPIC / QLIK, etc.).
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Assists the JMG VP of Finance in preparing the JMG annual operating / capital budget in accordance with Enterprise guidelines (leads JMG East, assists with all JMG regions). Prepares supporting budget schedules and performs budget reconciliation and analysis. Prepares financial forecasts and explain budget variances on an ongoing basis, and as needed by the Departments
- Acts as a lead strategic finance partner for JMG Finance Team, the JMG Administration Team and the various JMG Groups, Enterprise Service Line Leads, and Corporate Serves to continuously monitor, adjust, and report on JMG performance. Assists JMG VP of Finance with leading financial planning, execution of comprehensive business strategy, strategic development and compensation modeling. Oversees, develops, and mentors JUP financial managers and other team members under the direct of the JMG VP of Finance
- Supports pro-forma and business plan development and monitoring. Routinely reports to JMG VP of Finance, Physician and Operational Leads, and Service Line Leaders on investment return / performance
- Serves as JMG Finance strategic partner on all Financial Information Service (FIS) activities. Focuses areas to understand / build upon (to specific JMG needs): PeopleSoft General Ledger, Hyperion Reporting and Planning, EPIC / QLIK Reporting, etc. Leverage on-going JMG needs in these areas to continue enhancing JMG analytics / data retrieves, reporting.
- Leads surgical budgeting process; uses dynamic inputs that span the continuum of care, acknowledging the upstream and downstream impact of professional activity and hospital based activity.
- Assists JMG VP of Finance with onboarding and integrating Lehigh Valley Health Network ambulatory operations
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required (Bachelor's in Business or related field preferred)
- 6-8 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
