Location: Great Neck,NY, USA
The Director is responsible for day-to-day management of multiple large projects for the Ohio EQRO contract, as well as other activities as needed. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of activities with state representatives, and managed care plans (MCPs) and other stakeholders to develop the work plan and timelines, implement contracted tasks and ensure the timely and accurate completion of contract deliverables.
This position is office based with the potential for hybrid work.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Develop and manage contract-specific work-plans including tasks, timelines, and deliverables. For each project, ensure that all planning, data collection, data analysis and report writing are completed timely and to the satisfaction of the client.
* Guide the development and implementation of projects for multidisciplinary teams composed of IPRO, client, and MCP staff, when necessary.
* Provide regular formal and informal reporting to state representatives and other contract representatives including required status reports and participate in periodic conference calls and face-to-face meetings.
* Day-to-day liaison with customers, collaborators, and other stakeholders.
* Manage budgets for assigned contracts and/or activities.
* Travel as required to conduct audits, validation, and other duties. Overnight travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knowledge of health care delivery systems, managed care, HEDIS and NCQA requirements and processes.
* Superior analytical and writing skills, with the ability to present data and findings, both orally and in writing, to interested parties with varying technical backgrounds.
* Ability to manage all aspects of a full cycle of a project, including the coordination of internal and external workgroups and the management of subcontractors/consultants.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
* Ability to coordinate activities with departmental managers as well as other operational and support departments to meet customer requirements.
* Ability to provide formal and informal training sessions and presentations to staff from a variety of backgrounds.
* Ability to manage conflict and difficult interpersonal situations, both internally and with customers.
* Ability to supervise multidisciplinary staff.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or related program, required.
* Master's degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or related program, preferred.
* Three (3) years of experience in healthcare research, public health, health care quality improvement, or similar, required.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $125,000.00. Actual salary range and/or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.
