Description:
Reporting to the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) Director, the Director (non-tenure track clinical faculty), LIC Academics collaborates with the LIC director, associate dean for medical education, and school of medicine faculty, and under the authority of the School of Medicine Curriculum Committee and college of medicine leadership, to lead the development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of the longitudinal academic sessions integrated each week during Phase 2 of the curriculum, including direction of the one-week transition to clerkships course.Key Responsibilities:

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
· Medical Licensure in the State of Texas
· Medical degree from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic college of medicine
· Experience in graduated medical education or medical student advising
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with holistic student support practices
· Experience in residency program leadership and resident selection
· Knowledge of the AAMC Careers in Medicine and other career advising best practices
· Experience with LCME accreditation and continuous quality improvement
