Job Description:

Lead and manage all aspects of the loan administration lifecycle, ensuring seamless processing, servicing, and oversight of loan and transaction portfolios. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and team leadership within the department.

Client Details

Foreign bank in midtown Manhattan. Onsite 3 days/week.

Description

  • Leadership and Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the loan administration and transaction services teams.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Loan Administration

    • Supervise the end-to-end loan servicing process, including loan setup, funding, disbursement, payment processing, and ongoing maintenance.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all loan-related activities.
    • Monitor loan portfolio performance, addressing delinquencies and other exceptions promptly.
  • Transaction Services

    • Oversee the processing and settlement of financial transactions across various platforms and products.
    • Ensure that all transactions adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
    • Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies efficiently.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

    • Maintain strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing loan and transaction processes.
    • Implement controls to mitigate risks related to lending and financial transactions.
    • Work closely with internal and external auditors during reviews and examinations.
  • Strategic Initiatives

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align loan administration and transaction services with organizational goals.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
  • Reporting and Analytics

    • Generate regular reports on loan portfolio performance, transaction volumes, and key metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

Profile

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in loan administration, transaction services, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of loan servicing systems, financial transaction platforms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
