Director Management Consulting

What does a successful Director Management Consulting do at Fiserv?

As the Director of Management Consulting at Fiserv, you will be part of Fiserv's in-house management consulting group and partner with Fiserv teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness through productivity and quality improvements. Directors are responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously to help business teams improve efficiency and operational excellence. The work includes close collaboration with a variety of functions and business teams across Fiserv, project management, data and information analysis, solution implementation, and generation of project results. Directors must be comfortable being uncomfortable, as the environment is fast-paced and the project set frequently evolves based on business need and senior leadership priorities.

What you will do:

  • Initiate and drive process improvement
  • Manage firm-wide productivity improvement programs
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data
  • Conduct time and motion studies to observe and document the processes being executed
  • Identify and quantify opportunities to enhance processes and tools
  • Synthesize facts, findings, and recommendations into high-impact executive reports for presentation to Senior Management
  • What you will need to have:

  • 7+ years of work experience (management consultant experience preferred)
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong experience in logic-based problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementation
  • Mastery of analytical and presentation tools (Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Ability to travel to key US regional sites: 10 - 20% of time
  • What would be great to have:
