Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
The Director of Marketing andPRwill serve as the direct report for marketing, public relations and community relations staff. This position will facilitate the day to day management of the team, and will work directly on all creative development and graphic design projects, community engagement strategies and ensuring that the hospitals' mission, vision and core values are effectively communicated to and represented within the communities MSLC serves. The Director will be responsible for implementing initiatives, special events, marketing plans and service line specific marketing needs as identified by the VP. Applicants must be strongly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Adobe Premier. Additionally, applicants with extensive experience in managing a team are preferred.
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree required in English, humanities, journalism, communications or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copy writing, publication production, marketing or public relations, with at least two (2) years inleadership capacity.Thorough knowledge of the English language including grammar, composition and usage. Proven ability to produce clear and vivid copy; and to write in different tones for various mediums. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task under pressure with acute attention to detail. Adobe Creative Suite, Web, and social media experience required. Community relations/engagement experience preferred.
