NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for working with key NBC Sports stakeholders to market and increase sales of the properties of NBC Sports, NBCSports.com, Peacock, and NBC Sports Social platforms.You will be called upon to collaborate across the full NBCUniversal One Platform Ad Sales ecosystem including Global and Local teams. Reporting to the Vice President, Creative Partnerships Sports, you will work on linear, digital, and social platforms within NBC Sports portfolio of properties that includes NFL, NBA, College Football and Basketball, NASCAR, Horse Racing, Premier League, WWE, and Telemundo Deportes.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of full funnel marketing strategies and creative solutions for NBC Sports' brand partners, primarily focused on World Cup on Telemundo.
  • Build and maintain a collaborative working relationship with contacts in NBC Sports Production and Programming to develop and execute sponsorship opportunities.
  • Present sponsorship concepts to clients and agency counterparts, as well as oversee the client relationship relative to all sponsorship marketing implementation.
  • Oversee project timelines and work streams ensuring timely delivery of RFP responses, content creation, and other client deliverables.
  • Partner with NBC Sports sales, strategy, planning, and insights & measurement teams to define the marketing strategy for RFPs. Develop and communicate ideas that leverage NBC Sports platforms (linear, digital, mobile, social, VOD, audio, etc.) both strategically and creatively, to drive consumer impact and engagement, and deliver on advertiser KPIs.
  • Coach and mentor 1-2 direct reports through pre-sale (ideation and development) and post-sell (execution, recap presentations and videos) processes to showcase capabilities and program results.
  • Work with the sales team to refine and enhance concepts and represent Creative Partnerships in pre- and post-sale presentations.
  • Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with an agency, client, sports team/league or linear/digital media organization (marketing space preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • NBA and digital/streaming media experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime.
  • Must be willing to work in NY in a hybrid capacity; Tuesday - Thursday on-site, Monday and Friday virtual. Flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate required.

  • Ability to interact with senior-level management, internally and externally.

  • Knowledge of media marketing, the sales process and media in general.
  • Highly innovative with positive energy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - with the ability to lead and motivate a team of 2+ direct reports, interdepartmental teams and influence internal and external teams.
  • Familiarity with both Quantitative and Qualitative research tools.
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
