About this roleThe Director, Marketing Optimization will play a crucial role in optimizing our marketing processes and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role reports directly to the SVP of growth marketing.
Responsibilities- Marketing Automation: Implement and manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) to streamline lead nurturing, scoring, and campaign management.
- Data Analytics: Analyze marketing data to derive actionable insights, track campaign performance, and measure ROI.
- Develop and maintain in-depth marketing reports and Salesforce dashboards to track campaign performance, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
- Conduct complex data analysis to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform marketing strategies and optimization efforts.
- Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including marketing leadership, sales teams, and executive management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and metrics that align with overall business objectives.
- Leverage marketing automation and analytics tools to automate reporting processes and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure impact-level marketing-related measurement, infrastructure, data management, and executive reporting on marketing's contribution to the business globally.
- Lead Management: Develop and maintain lead management processes, including lead capture, qualification, and distribution to the sales development team.
- CRM Integration: Ensure seamless integration between marketing automation and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to facilitate lead tracking and sales handoff.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with marketing teams to prioritize and execute multi-channel campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, events, and digital advertising.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve marketing operations processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Define common technology and campaign architecture to be used across the marketing team and oversee the implementation of various functions as needed to support digital marketing initiatives.
- Technology Stack: Manage the marketing technology stack, including selection, implementation, and maintenance of tools and platforms.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or revenue operations roles within B2B SaaS or Healthcare IT/Tech industries.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, or similar) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, Salesforce).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
