Position Summary The Director of Marketing, Orange County Region is responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives, strengthen our brand presence, and drive customer acquisition and loyalty in the Orange County market. This role focuses on supporting stakeholders at Saddleback Medical Center, Orange Coast Medical Center, and MemorialCare service lines and locations in the Orange County market. The role requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of marketing trends and best practices in the healthcare industry.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and own relationships with key stakeholders from Saddleback Medical Center and Orange Coast Medical Center
- Take ownership and serve as the subject matter expert in marketing strategy in the Orange County market driving growth, brand presence, and measurable results
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with MemorialCare's overall goals and objectives in Orange County
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and communications teams and agency partners to activate plans, and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events
- Lead the planning and execution of marketing events to promote MemorialCare's services and brand in Orange County
- Quarterback the brand, ensuring consistent brand representation across all touchpoints in the Orange County market
- Create and maintain patient journey maps to optimize the customer experience
- Implement Voice of Customer initiatives to gather and analyze customer feedback
- Own content creation and management, developing compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in Orange County
- Analyze data and insights to drive marketing strategy and optimize campaign performance
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks in the Orange County market
- Mentor and provide guidance to the marketing team, fostering professional development
- Manage budget for areas of responsibility and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience Minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing/strategic marketing • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that deliver significant year-over-year growth • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing)
Education/Licensure/Certification: • MBA or advanced degree
